The time you spend with our dogs means more than you think. Walking, cuddling, or helping with everyday tasks makes a huge difference in the life of a dog waiting for its home - no special experience needed, just a little time and a lot of love.
How you can help
Walks & Exercise
Leash walks, running, and outdoor play - a great way to get active together with the dogs.
Socializing & Cuddles
Spending quality time with shy or traumatized dogs to help them rebuild trust in people.
Shelter Support
Brushing, feeding, and tidying the dogs' living spaces - small things that mean a lot.
Transport & Photos
Helping with rides to vet appointments or taking photos of dogs for adoption listings.
Important guidelines
Walking schedule & coordination
Walks and visits are arranged in advance with shelter staff to make sure every dog gets a fair turn and is walked safely.
Safety & minors
Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during all shelter activities and walks.
