Romy's past is one of those stories that breaks a man's heart and leaves him speechless. He was rescued from an abandoned yard where he lived all alone, guarding a pile of garbage, while his former owners left him an old refrigerator instead of a real house — and Romy was tied with a string around his neck to that same refrigerator. Despite this difficult and lonely life and full of abuse, Romy has preserved an incredible ability to love. About our special boy: ✨ As "glue" – it does not separate from you! – Romy is extremely affectionate. When he gains trust, he is literally “glued” to you, following in your footsteps and looking for constant proximity. 🦮 Incredibly obedient – he walks with his foot off the leash and has no chance of separating from his men. 🐱 SHE LOVES cats! – Romy not only can't stand cats, but she really loves them and gets along great with them. 💖 Special in appearance – he doesn't have a tail, he just has an adorable short tail that he was probably born with and he wags it cheerfully. 🐕 Getting along with dogs – he is good with other dogs, especially females. The only thing he doesn't like is other dogs approaching him while he eats (he growls when it comes to food due to trauma and starvation from the past). She loves running and playing with dogs. He adores ✨ women from the first meeting – he is immediately open, cuddly and playful to women, he is cautious at first with men and he watches them cautiously until he is sure that he can approach them. ⚠️ Triggers and trauma work (Important!): Because of the past and the attachment, Romy bears traumas related to men. He can be frightened by sudden movements and sounds, and his specific trigger is men in work clothes/work pants or with hats on. In such situations, he reacts out of fear (pinching/biting his leg out of discomfort, then pulling and hiding). When the situation calms down and he realizes that he is safe, he relaxes and cuddles with that man. Adoption 🎓 requirements: Romy is not for beginners. He is looking for a quiet home and experienced foster parents who understand how to work with traumatized dogs, know how to recognize his triggers and provide him with a stable, safe, pressure-free environment.
