Lyra was found in the street, scared and timid... she was limping and had a wound on her leg, and the X-ray showed that she had been shot. We tried to save her leg, but the bacteria had already affected the bones and tissue, so the leg had to be amputated. She is a big cuddler, vocal (she likes to "talk"), curious and adores attention. She is good with other dogs. It is not known how it gets along with cats, but we can test as needed. Despite the lack of a front leg, Lyra is just as active as if she had all four legs. Runs, plays, climbs on the couch.
