About
Hannah was found on the street with open wounds. The former owner tied her leg with a string that squeezed her so tightly that it grew into her tissue so much that she could not move it, causing a severe infection. He continues to use his leg, and the infection has been cured, but he has "episodes" in which he barked uncontrollably at that leg and at his tail. These episodes are usually triggered by stress — when the environment is calm and comfortable, they occur extremely rarely. In a way, it is a form of PTSD; she suffered so much pain that she was left with this "tic" that she cannot fully control. She is good with children and adults, as well as with other dogs. It is not known how it gets along with cats, but we can test as needed. She's good on a leash (no episode during walks). Staying in a shelter with a large number of dogs is extremely stressful for her and has a bad effect on her condition...
