Foxy arrived at our shelter a few months ago, after she and her sister Roxy were found dumped deep in the woods. They both arrived at the shelter completely wild, unsocialized and frightened. As Roxy slowly opens up, Foxy is even more restrained and shy towards humans, but underneath this cautious exterior hides an extremely smart dog in the type of Belgian shepherd (malinoe). Although she needs more time to relax, Foxy absorbs the rules at the same speed as Sis Roxy. Her obedience can be seen in the little things — at the command of "Boxing" without any hesitation, she goes to her place on her own. Foxy is looking for a man who understands the psyche of working, frightened and unsocialized dogs: ✨ Extremely bright, but extremely timid – she is more shy than her sister towards people, requires a lot of patience and a calm approach without pressure. She is ✨ looking for work and leadership – like a real raspberry, she has a pronounced wit and work drive and responds excellently to clear boundaries and structure. 🐕 Great with dogs – she gets along well with other, stable dogs and loves to play (she just doesn't like hostile dogs that scare her). ❌ Not for cats – due to a pronounced urge, the home must be free of cats. Adoption 🎓 requirements – Seek only experienced foster parents who have experience with raspberries and working with traumatized/unsocialized dogs. 🏠 EXTREMELY IMPORTANT – A TEMPORARY HOME (babysitter) IS also wanted! Because of her shyness, the shelter crowd for Foxy is too much of a stimulus. A temporary home and one-on-one work in a quiet home environment would give her the opportunity to finally relax and show her full potential.
